Senior SLAM ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities

  • The Senior SLAM Engineer creates reusable and efficient algorithms for vision based localisation (VSLAM) and sensor fusion, and applies them to different kinds of assets or robotic platforms.
  • You interpret and integrate the latest scientific findings in VSLAM to our product.
  • You mentor junior engineers via pairing, design review, and code review.

You’re bringing us…

  • MSc or PhD in SLAM, Computer Vision, Robotics, AI, Computer Science, Mathematical Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong mathematical background and scientific mindset, eager to learn
  • Fluent on Linux systems and an experienced C++ or Python programmer.
  • Proven experience on VSLAM algorithms, AI based computer vision and/or numerical optimization
  • You can work independently, while being a team player with good reporting skills
  • English language proficiency (written & verbal)
